Art Escape

From painters, jewelers, potters, and sculptors to woodworkers and performers, Bayfield’s high-quality art scene is worth celebrating.“Art Escape” is a nine-day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island held September 9 - 17, 2023. 

Area artists will be able to feature their art at a time and date chosen by the artists. This is a prime opportunity to showcase your art via live demos, art classes, and open houses and be included in the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau Art Escape directory.

Experience the arts through demonstrations, and open houses, and create your own masterpiece through a class.  Come see why so many are inspired by the natural beauty of Northern Wisconsin and create your own Art Escape during this week-long art extravaganza.

Kicking off Art Escape will be the Bayfield Festival of Arts at Memorial Park, on September 9 and 10, 2023.

During Art Escape, attendees can enter a drawing to win art from area artists and galleries.
