Membership Benefits

The Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau serves approximately 350 members and values and promotes the special allure of Bayfield with regard to its social, cultural, environmental, and architectural history.

Chamber staff directs and promotes successful events and activities, has a large membership base and offers supportive services to our members. We continue to be the driving force behind marketing Bayfield as a destination while fostering a successful business community. 

A few benefits of being a member include, but are not limited to: 

• Option to buy display ads and listings in the Bayfield Travel Guide and on our website bayfield.org.
•  Access to the Extranet where you can add events, deals and offers, update your business listing and post to our online job board at Bayfield.org
• Hosting and/or networking with your fellow members at the monthly afterhours networking socials to share your business news.
• Submitting events or special offers to the weekly community email blast. (Sent out to about 3,000 emails)
•  Linking the Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau website (bayfield.org) on your website so your customers can access current Bayfield information.
• Forwarding our Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau visitor email news to your customers.
• Possible mentions/inclusion in Visitor Newsletters (Sent to 28,000 people twice a month.)
• Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau gift certificates which can be redeemed at your business.
•  A free listing on the map inserts on the inside front cover of the Bayfield Travel Guide. (If applicable).
•  Placement of business information or brochures in Bayfield Visitor Center. (13,000 in-person visitors in 2023).
• Workshops to help you learn more about the BCVB website and tools available for promoting your business.
• On-line lodging availability service for lodging members through Book>Direct.
•  Option to rent kiosk space outside the Bayfield Visitor Center to promote your business (fees apply).
• Reduced rates for most membership categories to participate in the Bayfield Apple Festival and Festival of Arts
• Discounts on laminating & copying services
• Free rental of chamber equipment, including a projector, PA system, folding chairs, use of bulk mailing permit, etc.
• Distribute up to three press releases per year to local and major media outlets.
• Access to a members-only Facebook page.
• Option to use #bayfieldwi and #bayfieldapplefestival when posting to social media to share your content with the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau.
