Bayfield Apples

Surrounded by family farms and orchards, an exploration of local food culture begins with a tour of the Fruit Loop, which winds its way around Bayfield. 

As the temperatures cool, the apple orchards begin their harvest, offering apples of every size and flavor, including many heirloom varieties. Pick up a bushel of apples, or pick your own from Bayfield apple trees. 

Apples start to be harvested in September and October. 

Stop in the Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau and grab a copy of the Berry Farm and Orchard Guide with a map of the Fruit Loop.
