Driving
If you are coming from the west, Bayfield is a 1H 45M (85 mile) scenic drive from Duluth, Minnesota. We recommend taking the Wisconsin Lake Superior Scenic Byway (State Highway 13) along the lakeshore.

Boating
Bayfield marinas have transient boat slips suited for single day or multi-day visitors.
Flying
Duluth International Airport is just under 2 hours away from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Duluth offers direct flights from Minneapolis and Chicago daily so you’re only one easy stop away from most any destination. There are also daily shuttle busses available from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport.
From the Duluth airport, it is a scenic 1H 45M (85 mile) drive. There are car rentals available directly at the airport.
