Food Manager, Maintenence, and Repair Staff

The following positions are not full time, so we are either hiring staff part-time or will combine each with one of our other positions to make a full time opportunity. They are great positions for those who crave flexibility and variation in their work, and who like to problem solve.

Food Manager

In charge of creating, purchasing, and making all day trip and overnight meals. This person needs to love and know how to make delicious food! Approximately 75% full time during the busy season.

Maintenance Staff

Maintenance staff do everything from landscaping to cleaning vehicles and restrooms to driving rental shuttles. A great position for someone who is self-motivated and cares about doing a good job. Approximately 75% full time during the busy season.

Boat Repair Technician

Our repair person does all repair work on our kayaks and SUPs. Training provided.  Approximately 50% full time during the busy season with opportunities for early and late season work.


Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • On time and able to work early and/or late hours.

  • Personable and easy going

  • Neat appearance

  • 18+ years old

  • Sense of humor 

  • Confident problem-solving abilities

  • Own transportation to and from work

  • Clean driving record and experience in chosen area of work.


Compensation & Benefits

We have a five-tiered system, with experience, ability, commitment, and knowledge of our business bringing commensurate increases in compensation. Substantial increases are given to staff returning for following seasons, and for previous experience. Benefits include personal development offerings, training, free trips and rentals, employee purchase program, and pay raises as skills develop. End of season bonus given for work quality and for completing your contract. 


Position dates

Food Manager preferred start date is May 1st to assist in preparation of overnight trip meals for the summer. Ends Labor Day.

Maintenance staff have a flexible start date. Preferred end date is Labor Day.

Boat Repair Technicians can start as early as May 1st to help get equipment ready for summer. Labor Day or later is preferred for an end date.
