Shop historic Bayfield this holiday season! The Hometown Holiday Shopping Season begins November 28th and runs through December 31st. With so many unique stores, galleries, and boutiques, you'll find something right here in Bayfield for everyone on your gift list. You'll appreciate Bayfield's quiet pace and unassuming atmosphere while enjoying the winter beauty of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. So, take out your list and come see what Bayfield has in store for you!
The season officially begins when the town's Christmas tree is lit up at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 29th. After the ceremony, warm up in the Lakeside Pavilion and enjoy holiday treats while listening to Christmas carols performed by the Rittenhouse Inn Singers.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will catch a ride to Bayfield on the Madeline Island Ferry, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13th. Upon their arrival, kids will get an opportunity to meet Santa and have a picture taken in the Lakeside Pavilion. Each child will also receive a 'goody bag' from Mrs. Clause and lunch compliments of the Bayfield Chamber.
Don't miss the Holiday Spirit Arts & Crafts Show on December 6th at the Bayfield Inn, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. You'll find an assortment of great handcrafted items all at one location.
The Holiday Spirit Gallery Tour will take place on December 6th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
