Rabideaux's Bayfield Fruit Company Strawberry Pie

1-2 quarts strawberries
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons corn starch
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Make an 8" pie crust as follows:
2 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1 tablespoon sugar

Mix until crumbly. Add 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup milk. Roll out one layer, put into pie shell, and prick with fork. Bake about 15 minutes at 350 degrees until brown. Cool.

Take berries and divide in half. Mash 1/2 of berries. Add the sugar, corn starch, and cook 5-6 minutes or until thick. Add lemon juice. Place whole berries in cooked pie shell. Pour cooked berries over it and chill. Serve with whipped cream.
