Three New Businesses Opening in Bayfield
Community Welcomes Fissinger Chiropractic Clinic, CF Design Ltd,
and Unbridled Hope Equine Assisted Learning Center
Business is booming in Bayfield. According to Mayor Larry MacDonald, "Bayfield is seeing a nice burst of investment in new and existing businesses." In keeping with this trend, the Bayfield Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Bureau will be hosting ribbon cuttings for three new businesses in the next two weeks; Fissinger Chiropractic Clinic, CF Design Ltd, and Unbridled Hope Equine Assisted Learning Center.
On Wednesday, June 16th, beginning at noon, there will be a ribbon cutting and opening for the new Fissinger Chiropractic Clinic, located at 33 N. 1st St. at the corner of 1st and Washington, Suite #3. Dr. Fissinger has been in healthcare for over 33 years with almost a quarter of a century of that being dedicated to holistic chiropractic and nutrition. This clinic will be run under a new model, which will remove obstacles and problems associated with healthcare these days.
CF Design, a residential architectural design firm will be celebrating the grand opening of their new Bayfield branch office, located at 39 S. Broad Street, on Friday, June 25th, at 12:00 pm. CF Design works with projects of all scales in their custom design of residences, spaces, cabinetry and furniture. Their work addresses a variety of styles and expressions, focused on the artistic blending of beautiful materials in fresh and simple ways. Their "design for the way you live" was born in the Northern Region paying special attention to the "fit" of their work to its natural landscape and site, energy efficiency, and durable materials - well detailed.
Unbridled Hope, Equine Assisted Learning Center (UHEAL), located at 93600 Little Sand Bay Rd will be having their grand opening & ribbon cutting on Saturday, June 26th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Unbridled Hope (UHEAL) is situated on 120 acres with 45 acres fenced in. They offer a curriculum in which horses and humans work together to improve the quality of life and mental health for individuals, families, and groups. In addition to Equine Assisted Learning, Unbridled Hope offers horseback riding, private lessons, trail rides (by appointment only), natural horsemanship clinics and a summer camp, July 14th through July 24th.
This series of business openings follows an equally busy month of May. Adventure Vacations and Boat Charters, a gear shop and adventure guide service on Madeline Island, recently held a ribbon-cutting for their new Bayfield gear shop location at 117 S First Sreet, Unit 100. The store features outdoor supplies ranging from swimsuits and sunscreen to dog toys and equipment rentals. Bayfield also welcomed a new bookstore, Apostle Islands Booksellers, downtown at 112 Rittenhouse Ave. They are a locally-owned, independent bookstore whose collection of books emphasizes the history, lifestyle, and activities of the Apostle Islands and Chequamegon region of the Wisconsin northwoods. Residents and visitors can also look forward to the newly relocated Dreamcatcher Sailing office to be opening later in June on Rittenhouse and 1st, around the corner. Dreamcatcher's boats are already in the water, taking guests on trips throughout the Apostle Islands.
